This tea is fantastic !! I was looking for a caffeine free, sweetener free beverage and found out I love this stuff !!
Typically I enjoy cold drinks which used to include way too much diet pop. I'm trying to be more healthy, so went looking for a replacement. Water is ok, but is pretty bland. I found some good flavored waters, but it gets old always having to recycle the bottles. Finally I remembered how much I love cinnamon spice iced tea. It is so easy to brew and delicious to drink cold.
I take a glass jar (about the size of a mason jar left over from my peaches) and put 4 tea bags in with water. The jar sits on a sunny table for a few hours, then I have two large servings of great iced tea. No caffeine, no sweeteners, and no bottles to recycle. Great !
What drink ideas do you have along the lines of being more healthy?

I know where the phrase 'busy bee' comes from !!!! Observing our two bee hives reminded me of the meaning really quickly. It was a warm afternoon, and the bees were out collecting pollen. Here are some pictures of the bees coming and going.
I'm pretty impressed by my camera too. I have an old digital camera, the Sony Mavica. Amazingly, it uses floppy disks for film. I was standing a good distance from the hives, yet my zoom was able to catch the wings of the bees in flight !!

Isn't this little African Violet plant adorable? Recently a friend gave me this little cutie. I'm going to see how it likes living at my house. Most plants like me, so hopefully we will have a long time together.
It will be fun to watch it grown, and find out what color flowers it will produce. They might be light purple, dark purple, or pink. Maybe white? I have only had one similar plant in the past and it had dark purple flowers.
Check back over time, I'll post updates as this lovely plant develops on my windowsill.
